Sustainable Development Goal 7 is one of 17 Sustainable Development Goals established by the United Nations General Assembly in 2015. It aims to "Ensure access to affordable, reliable, sustainable and modern energy for all.

This goal has 5 targets. each in the list have been schedueled to be completed by 2050, much like all 17 Sustainable Development Goals

7∙1

This SDG target is that the world will be able to have access to clean energy. This means countries less resourceful should also have access to resources and have the funding to be able to set-up clean energy sources.

7∙2

This target is focusing on increasing the percentage clean energy being put to use globally. The homes and buildings being installed with clean energy, the higher the percentage will become.

7∙3

This target's goal is to double the improvement in energy effeciency. By is they want to decrease the amount of energy used to perform the same task.

7‣A

The target is to enhance international cooperation to facilitate access to clean energy research and technology, including renewable energy, energy efficiency and advanced and cleaner fossil-fuel technology, and promote investment in energy infrastructure and clean energy technology.

7‣B

This SDG 7 target is to upgrade energy services. The UN want these services to upgrade and develop technology to supply improved modern energy that can be accessed all over the world mainly in the less privileged countries.
