SDG 13 Challenges

One drastic challenge the planet is facing is the release of Carbon Dioxide. When carbon dioxide is released into the atmosphere the greenhouse effects occurs, by trapping some the it in the atmosphere while allowing the rest to travel back down to Earth, therefore heating up the planet. This emphasises climate change even more by destroying agriculture is less - developed places such as Africa.

Plastic Pollution is another major challenge the Earth is facing at the moment. Plastic Pollution is most visible in developing Asian and African nations, where garbage collection systems are often inefficient or nonexistent. But the developed world, especially in countries with low recycling rates, also has trouble properly collecting discarded plastics.
