Omotosho

Hello my name is Olivia Omotosho. I am 11 years old and I live in Melbourne, Australia. I love reading, writing and art, I am the author of the book "21 Girls who Made the World a Better Place."

My book is about 21 amazing girls who changed the world for the better. Even if it was just a small thing that they did, it still gained recognition and that small change turned into something quite big. My book includes girls such as Malala Yousafzai, Ruby Bridges and Alexandra Scott. They have all done something amazing to make the world a better place.

“Project Eleven11”

Dear friend,

I turned 11 years old on June 26, 2021. As a birthday present and to help me celebrate, I am reaching out to YOU to support one of the projects close to my heart “Project Eleven11”.

I published the book “21 Girls Who Made the World a Better Place” when I was 10 years old Buy 21 Girls who Made the World a Better Place here . I am very passionate about placing the book in the hands of young people, especially susceptible children who could not afford to buy the book.

In Nigeria, more than 10.5 million children are out of school, according to the most recent data (UNICEF-WCARO Nigeria Fact sheets on Girls Education), and many of them being girls (60%). With your help, I would love to donate 1,111 books to 1,111 children for my birthday as part of “Project Eleven11”.

This is where you come in. The book, “21 Girls Who Made the World a Better Place”, is now available in Nigeria. And to celebrate my birthday, I am looking for people like you, who would buy 10, 20, 30 or more copies at a highly subsidized rate of $5 (instead of around $20) for kids (especially girls) in Nigeria, kids who would love to read but cannot afford to buy the book. I am working on partnering with some foundations that would help with the distribution to these children. And we will make sure that this is transparently done so that your contribution remains valuable.

Updates about received orders will be published very frequently to keep you in the loop.

I am guided by the United Nations Sustainable Development Goal 4, which is “Ensure inclusive and equitable quality education and promote life learning opportunities for all. It starts with you! Dear friend, help me realise my birthday wish and help me have a great 11th birthday – giving back to the community. Please support “Project Eleven11”.

Would you partner with me?
